ANDREA GAVIN BECKER
I’m a creative director and art director specializing in branding, design, storytelling and multidisciplinary creative work.
I started out in advertising, working at agencies big and small from San Francisco to Boston. Since going freelance in 2005, I’ve worked on branding, campaigns, content and design for cars, airplanes, hotels, hospitals, shoes, clothes, toys, nonprofits—and pretty much every noun in between.
I like strong and extendable ideas, visuals that do more than decorate, and figuring out how to make complicated things clear and human..
I’ve won awards and had my work featured in magazines, but by far the best award I ever received was a double-lung transplant in 1998. It has a way of keeping both work and life in perspective.
